Situada na zona do "Pinhal de Alcácer", esta intervenção arquitetónica propõe a criação de um condomínio privado composto por oito moradias unifamiliares isoladas, integradas num lote de 18068,8 m². O projeto define-se por um profundo respeito pela paisagem existente, seguindo uma estratégia de "toque leve" que prioriza a preservação do pinhal local. Ao restringir a volumetria a um único piso e ao eliminar a construção de caves, o desenho minimiza o impacto vertical, enquanto a implementação de um sistema construtivo modular em madeira, sobre-elevado, evita escavações intrusivas que poderiam comprometer a saúde das árvores existentes.
A linguagem arquitetónica centra-se numa planta distintiva em forma de "Y", uma geometria escolhida pela sua versatilidade e pela capacidade de se serpentear por entre a vegetação natural sem necessidade de abates significativos. Esta forma serve um propósito duplo: unifica a estética das oito habitações, enquanto proporciona uma experiência visual rítmica e não linear ao nível do solo. Para harmonizar ainda mais com a envolvente, os materiais selecionados ecoam a paleta natural da floresta. As fachadas apresentam ripados verticais de madeira termo-modificada, desenhados para se fundirem com as sombras dos pinheiros, enquanto as coberturas planas são revestidas com gravilha de cor areia, condizendo com as geocélulas permeáveis dos percursos exteriores.
No interior, as moradias seguem um programa funcional de tipologia T4, organizado em braços distintos que convergem num núcleo social central. Um dos braços do "Y" acolhe uma cozinha com ilha, que se abre totalmente para o exterior através de vãos de correr, enquanto o núcleo central contém as salas de jantar e de estar. Estes espaços funcionam como uma "rótula" transparente, esbatendo a fronteira entre o interior e a paisagem. Os restantes braços são dedicados à área privada, integrando três suites e um master suite principal, este último usufruindo de um pátio privativo. Cada fração é complementada por uma piscina privativa e uma estrutura de arrecadação independente que demarca a zona de estacionamento.
Located in the "Pinhal de Alcácer" region, this architectural intervention proposes the creation of a private condominium comprising eight detached single-family villas, integrated into a sprawling 18068.8 m² plot. The project is defined by a deep respect for the existing landscape, following a "light-touch" strategy that prioritizes the preservation of the local pine forest. By restricting the volumetry to a single story and eliminating basements, the design minimizes vertical impact, while the implementation of a modular, elevated wooden construction system avoids intrusive excavations that would otherwise jeopardize the health of the existing trees.
The architectural language is centered around two typologies of a distinctive "Y" shaped floor plan, a geometry chosen for its versatility and its ability to weave through the natural vegetation without the need for significant tree removal. This shape serves a dual purpose: it unifies the aesthetic of the eight dwellings while providing a rhythmic, non-linear visual experience from the ground level. To further harmonize with the environment, the materials selected echo the natural palette of the forest. The facades feature vertical slats of thermo-modified wood, designed to blend into the shadows of the pines, while the flat roofs are finished with sand-colored gravel to match the permeable geocells of the outdoor paths.
Inside, the villas follow a spacious T4 program, organized into distinct functional wings that converge at a central social hub. One arm of the "Y" houses an island kitchen that opens completely to the outdoors via sliding glass planes, while the central core contains the dining and living areas. These spaces act as a transparent "hinge," bluring the boundary between the interior and the landscape. The remaining arms are dedicated to privacy, featuring three guest suites and a primary master suite, the latter of which enjoys its own private patio. Each lot is completed by a private pool and a detached storage structure that demarcates the parking area.
